Jeff’s journey with wood began in his early teens, where he discovered his love for the cabinet shop. After graduating high school, he further honed his skills at SUNY Delhi, specializing in carpentry and cabinetmaking. This foundation paved the way for the establishment of Haines and Haines Inc. in 1997, a successful home remodeling and cabinet shop in Central NY. For 23 years, Jeff and his dedicated team built not only stunning cabinets and furniture but also lasting relationships with their clients.
In the spring of 2020, a moment of introspection changed everything for Jeff. While the world faced unprecedented challenges, he took a step back to reflect on his life and business. It became clear to him that the essence of his work was not just in the wood, but in the people and connections formed along the way. From this realization, Creekside Woodworks was born—a new venture focused on sharing the beauty of handcrafted wooden items with a broader audience.
