The CNY Regional Market is operated by the Central New York Regional Market Authority, established by New York State in 1935. The mission of the Authority is to provide facilities, programs and services to promote opportunities for Agriculture and commerce in Central New York and to specifically serve the counties of Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, and Wayne County. The Authority is governed by a Board of Directors made up of 13 members, to provide guidelines and regulatory oversight for the structures and operations within the 50 acre campus.
