This family-owned farm specializes in growing the finest certified organic seedlings Upstate New York has to offer. Owner Jamie Edelstein provides 250 different varieties of vegetables, plants and herbs.
Starting at age 3, Jamie's father would purchase 'penny packets' to introduce young Jamie to the world of growing. When Jamie grew into a teen, he found the garden to be a place of wonder and solace. Jamie then met his future wife Maggie in California while working in the landscape industry. Eventually moving back to Central New York, they purchased an 1850's farmhouse in Cato. In 2007 they planted their first acre of vegetables and over the next few years the farm grew exponentially. After losing Maggie to Cancer in 2017, Jamie and their daughter Anabelle had to re-frame what life would look like after their loss. After meeting Tere in 2019, the "Magical Match" planned to continue the vision of the farm. With a 10 year plan involving expanding the property and adding educational stays for those interested in an experience on the farm - this dynamic duo truly loves educating the community on organic farming!
