Mimi's Treats

It was only a BATTER of time before we introduced Mariah Prescod, owner of @mimistreats 🍪

A home-based bakery located in East Syracuse, Mariah specializes in specialty cakes, cookies, gourmet desserts & more. She's even been known to whip up heart warming cocoa bombs in the winter seasons. Mariah decided to transform her hobby into a business in 2014 when she realized the personal joy she experienced while baking for her family and friends. Then witnessing the happiness everyone shared over warm raspberry almond scones or appreciative laughter upon the unveiling of a cookie monster cake created for her tiniest customer's birthday, her passion for baking only grew from there.

Custom-made and inclusive of all dietary needs, whatever the celebration, her treats will have you returning for next year's anniversary too. “All my treats are made from scratch and cater to various dietary choices including vegan and gluten free. Everything is also custom-made, so customers personalize their order and have exactly what they need for their special occasion."

As one of our newest vendor's she also shared, “I became a vender at the CNY Regional Market this past summer and it has been such a fulfilling experience for me. I've made some truly genuine friendships with other venders and shoppers and it's just a joy being there every Saturday. Farmers markets aren't only a great place for small businesses to showcase their goods, but it's also a great opportunity to build relationships and support small businesses. “
