Let’s be FRANK, Dogs On Wheels has it all 🌭🍔🍟

Owners Amir & Taima Yagan of Dogs on Wheels have been at the Market for 20 years providing food for vendors, customers and staff at the Market. Starting off with hot dogs only, customers were lining up and down C-Shed and as a result, their business quickly grew. Both Amir & Taima enthusiastically began to tailor their menu to based off customer feedback which included expanding their selections of mouthwatering meals. Now they have a little bit of everything. Many customers start their morning with a toasted bagel or classic breakfast sandwich. Some enjoy a lunch spread of steaming hot hamburgers or fresh chicken sandwich and sizzling fries. Or celebrate their family history with the staple that started it all, the hot dog!

Most amazing, they passed their entrepreneurial spirit and business skills onto their three girls who grew up visiting and working at the Market every weekend. As their children who are all now grown, Amir & Taima continue to lead operations, and love when they’re able to visit the Market and shop with the vendors they have known all of their life. Taima emphasized how much love and appreciation their family shares for the community they’ve built over the years, underlined in valuable relationships. “We are so grateful to all of the people we have met, both vendors and customers, who we have built long-lasting friendships with. We always check in on each other if we haven’t seen someone for a little while. It’s like a big family who supports each other.”

Being apart of the CNY Regional Market, they expressed how important it is to shop local. It supports your community and “the small guys” and overall, the two love shopping with their fellow vendors and intentionally eating in season. “It gives us great satisfaction and honor to serve the community and we appreciate the Market Staff that keeps this Market running.”
