The Woolsons
Deck the hall (and doors)!
Kimethe Woolson’s great grandmother launched a wreath making business years before the Market was even open in 1938. Now, four generations later, it’s still run by Kim and her husband Howard. You’ll also see a sign hanging in their booth, memorializing her mother who taught her the craft of wreath making. What an amazing way to honor a family tradition.
There’s so much that goes into customizing this seasons door decor before it even comes to The Market. All year round the Woolson’s (pictured) friends collect pine cones to decorate the wreathes. In October, they begin foraging for the greens, store and regularly water them to keep each piece fresh, and then start making the wreaths to bring to the Market!
