Now in their 6th year in business, Owner Ron Schalck has always been interested in agriculture, growing up helping his grandfather farm and gardening his whole life. As a young adult Ron worked on a 20 acre organic vegetable farm where he learned the ins and outs of raising organic produce. Selling over 60 different types of vegetables, with 150 different varieties, Six Pints Farm prides themselves on not using any chemicals and having a wide variety of produce for their customers. Ron says local & fresh are the reasons why people should shop at the farmers market. Ron's tip to shoppers is to look and see who is selling their produce with the greens still on them, this shows the product has been picked within the last day.
