Drink NY Craft’s is always HOPPY
President and founder of Drink NY Craft, Chad Meigs, established the first online-retail outlet selling craft beer directly to consumers in NYS. Starting in October of 2021, Chad explains they only work with the smaller breweries in New York such as the farm breweries and nano-breweries. These are the craft beers you won't see in grocery stores, these smaller producers are traditionally underserved by big distribution.
Wanting to bring quality NYS craft beer to consumers directly, Chad wanted to make it easier for consumers to get their hands on these unique brews. Now you no longer have to drive to each individual taproom to support the little breweries. This allows the smaller breweries to compete with the larger retail distributors.
A typical week is spent fulfilling internet orders and then shipping the product directly to customers. Then comes the weekend, a time when Chad and team are able to meet the public during our weekly Markets. Enthusiastically, Chad shared his love for sharing great product with new shoppers. "The best part is deciding which beers we want to sample for people! Customer’s should shop at farmer’s markets because you can get your vegetables AND your fresh, local craft beer too. By providing brands that are unknown to the general public they make a popular alternative choice, creating new experiences for CNY. This is one of the reasons customer’s love shopping with Drink NY Craft. Customers, Chad shared, also "like helping the smaller breweries compete with the larger regional giants. People tend to root for the little guy!"
