"Calling all Strawberry Lovers ... If you are needing a side dish for Father's Day or need a dish to pass, put this Strawberry Poppy Seed Dressing on your list! The savory and the sweet are great on the palette. It's a must try and super easy to make with fresh strawberries.
Strawberries are at their natural peak right now so it would be the perfect time of year to make this dressing. Serve with a Spinach Salad or Berry Salad. Read the recipe to see how you can put a twist on this dressing using maple syrup (sugar-free). The recipe includes ingredients for those following different diets including Keto/Low Carb, Paleo, Vegan, or Whole 30."
Ingredients
1/2 cup olive oil (or avocado oil)
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup ChocZero Vanilla Syrup, or ChocZero Maple Syrup, or Sukrin Fiber Syrup Gold
1/4 cup strawberries, stems removed
1 tablespoon poppyseeds
1/4 teaspoon salt
Paleo/Whole 30/Vegan: Use honey or pure maple syrup in place of the listed sugar-free syrups
Method
In a food processor or blender combine all the ingredients; cover and process until blended and the strawberries are liquefied.
Refrigerate in an airtight container. Will keep for approximately 2 weeks.
Note: Sukrin FIber Syrup is more of a honey flavoring, the ChocZero Vanilla Syrup has a delicious subtle vanilla flavoring (not over powering, somewhat like a honey).
